Our Fashion of Film competition will allow designers to showcase their creative talents and create a stylish and innovative garment that reflects their personal interpretation of a fashion flare film. The Fashion of Film competition is being produced by the Charlotte Black Film Festival. This year’s theme is “Raise Up and Create Forward” Finalists will present their designs at the Fashion of Film Showcase at the Hilton University Hotel on July 6 , 2023, at 7:30 PM. Winners will be announced at the 13th Annual Red Carpet Vision 

$1500 in cash and prizes – Designers 1st place $700 and award – 2nd place $350 and award –  3rd place  $200 and award. 

Models: Awards will be provided for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 

Designers are encourage to bring their own models or choose from the model call.

$99.00 registration fee for designers and $10 fee for models. Payment link will be sent after your applications is received. 

Deadline to register Thursday May 18, 2023 – Designer Film Selection and Model Call May 20, 2023 at 2:00pm
