File Preparation:

Make sure that your film has no color bars or any black sequence before the film starts or after it ends.
Please also make sure you provide a progressive (deinterlaced) video file, without any horizontal lines across the image (an interlacing artifact known as “combing”), particularly visible during sequences with rapid movement.

File Size Specifications:

Short film file sizes should not exceed 4 GB.
Feature film file sizes should not exceed 15 GB.

Subtitle Requirements:

Subtitles should be integrated (burned in) into the image.
IMPORTANT!Depending upon your chosen aspect ratio, your subtitles should be within the 4:3 or 16:9 title safe area.
If your subtitles are not within the title safe area, our festival editor will adjust the overall resolution of your film in order to accommodate the title safe area.
