Charlotte Black Film Collective

The CBFC is a monthly meetup of African American Actors, Directors, Producers and Writers from various backgrounds and experiences. We conduct industry workshops, networking,  monthly film screenings, and produced short films.   We meet on the first Thursday of every month.

Do you have Films Appropriate for Children

Most Festival films do not yet have MPAA ratings attached. Therefore parents should carefully read film descriptions and use their discretion when considering what might be appropriate for their children. Those marked Family Friendly are appropriate for children subject to your discretion.

What happens if CBFF is canceled or postponed?
Sometimes the weather will prevent outdoor events from happening or a performer may get injured and have to postpone the event, in this case it’s the corinavirus. Thankfully, when events are rescheduled, your tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date.
If an event was canceled without a make-up date then you will receive a refund for your order. Your order cost will be refunded to your original payment source within three weeks of the cancellation being confirmed. We’ll send you an email to let you know if we canceled or postponed to a new date. Our April 23 -26, 2020 dates have been postponed to June 18-21, 2020.
